Here, I celebrate and affirm your love no matter what your love looks like. I know the wedding industry was built on a foundation of whiteness, thinness, and cisheteronormativity.
Intimate City Park Elopement on a Romantic Rainy Day | New Orleans Wedding Photographer | Tia Nash Photography
Markee and Eric came from Houston to have an intimate New Orleans wedding. Their wedding was fleeting and I only had the honor of spending a single hour capturing this story. So many weddings are huge beautiful productions that take years to fall in to place. Others are small and intimate with just the most important bits. One couple ready to get married, two witnesses to sign the paper work, an ordained officiant to make it all legal, a photographer to archive the memories, and then your closest family and friends to make it fun. There is something so special about being invited in to these tiny weddings. In a group where everyone knows everyone already, where everyone is family, I am invited in and tasked with making the memories last forever.
Markee and Eric have two beautiful daughters and a community of friends and family that obviously love them to so deeply. I am so grateful I got to be a part of your day.
“Tia was so patient and flexible for all of our needs and asks and such a joy to be around. We appreciated their expertise and easy direction, and are in love with our photos.“
